Mouse IgA (l2) is purified from clarified MOPC 315 mouse ascites using multi-step procedures which may include salt fractionation, gel filtration, ion-exchange chromatography, affinity chromatography and immunoabsorption. The product is dialyzed into 0.02M Tris, 0.15M sodium chloride, pH 8.1, filtered through a 0.22 µm filter and vialed.

Application Notes

This product is suitable for use as a positive control in antibody identification screening techniques and is recommended as an ELISA coating antigen and control. It is suitable for Ouchterlony Double Diffusion. The antibody was used to detect antigens to Helicobacter hepaticus in mice serum using a concentration of 5 μg/mL.
