Reliable Antibodies to Accelerate your Immunology Research

Antibodies have become critical tools for many areas of life science research, primarily for their use as molecular tags for specific labeling, separation and detection. Our antibodies have been recommended for use in most assays including Western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunostaining and flow cytometry.

High Performance Primary Antibodies

Primary antibodies are typically unconjugated immunoglobulins that directly bind to a specific antigen of interest, such as a protein, peptide, small molecule, etc.  The variable region of the primary antibody recognizes an epitope on the target antigen. Primary antibodies are useful for detecting, purifying and quantifying target molecules in various applications, such as ELISA, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry and western blotting. A good primary antibody needs to recognize and bind the antigen with high affinity and specificity. With over 30 years of experience and expertise serving the antibody research community and in vitro diagnostic industry, MP Biomedicals offers a large range of primary antibodies from various host species with high affinity and specificity.

High Quality Secondary Antibodies from Cappel™

Secondary antibodies bind specifically to primary antibodies and are widely used to amplify signals for detection, sorting and purification of target antigens. They are highly specific for the antibody species and isotype of the primary antibody being used. MP Bio carries a wide selection of secondary antibodies from multiple species, including human, rabbit and mouse. Enzyme (alkaline phosphatase (AP) or horseradish peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibodies are suitable for EIA, ELISA, blot immunostaining and cell/tissue staining. Fluorochrome conjugated antibodies are used for immunofluorescence assays, cell/tissue staining, blot immunostaining and fluorescence-activated cell sorting.
